The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced on February 15, 2019 its finding that the dumping of certain carbon steel welded pipe originating in or exported from Pakistan, the Philippines, Turkey and Vietnam has caused injury to the domestic industry.
Anti-dumping duties will therefore be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on importations of these goods.
The Tribunal's inquiry and finding follow the issuance by the President of the CBSA of a final determination dated January 16, 2019 to the effect that the above-mentioned goods have been dumped.
