CBSA extends reinvestigation of values of pipe fittings from the U.S., South Korea and China

April 11, 2019

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced that it needed more time to complete the re-investigation to update the normal values and export prices respecting certain copper pipe fittings from the United States, South Korea and China and the amounts of subsidy of certain copper pipe fittings from China.

Orders from the Canadian International Trade Tribunal impose anti-dumping and/or countervailing duties on importations of the specified goods.

The CBSA extended the conclusion of the re-investigation 28 days due to the complexity and novelty of the issues presented by the re-investigation. Consequently, the re-investigation will be concluded by June 28, 2019.
