CBSA issues dumping determination on sucker rods from Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico

January 3, 2020

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made a preliminary determination of dumping with respect to certain sucker rods originating in or exported from Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.

Provisional duties at rates of up to 48.9% will now be payable on the subject goods that are released from customs on or after December 30, 2019.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) will now formally determine if the dumping is causing prejudice to Canadian industry.
