Tribunal maintains with amendments the injury finding on steel plate from six countries

March 19, 2020

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced that it continued, with amendment, its finding made in May 2014 concerning the dumping of hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high-strength low-alloy steel plate, originating in or exported from from Brazil, Denmark, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, and South Korea.

The Tribunal found that the continued or resumed dumping of hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high-strength low-alloy steel plate from Brazil, Denmark, Indonesia, Italy, Japan and Korea was likely to result in injury.

The Canada Border Services Agency will therefore continue to impose anti-dumping duties on these products.
