COVID-19 pandemic delays some CBSA anti-dumping investigations

April 6, 2020

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has revised the schedules in relation to two investigations related to anti-dumping and/or countervailing measures.

The revisions to the schedule were made by the CBSA in order to alleviate pressures brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic to interested parties.

In these types of investigations several parties have to supply detailed informations to the CBSA and the current circumstances obviously make it difficult to abide by deadlines.

The two investigations affected so far are:

Oil country tubular goods originating in or exported from China. Schedule Revision in relation to the Expiry Review Investigation

Dry Wheat Pasta: Dumping and Countervailing from Turkey. Schedule Revision in Relation to Re-investigation
