The Canadian International Trade Tribunal initiated an expiry review of its finding of April 2016, which resulted on anti-dumping and countervailing duties being applied to steel grating originating in or exported from China.
The Tribunal will determine if the expiry of the finding is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping and subsidizing of the grating and if this would be likely to result in injury to Canadian industry.
In the first step of the review the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will determine, by August 26, 2021, if there is a likelihood of resumed or continued dumping or subsidizing of the goods if the finding is left to expire.
In the event of positive determinations, the Tribunal will determine, on February 2, 2022, whether the continued or resumed dumping or subsidizing is likely to result in injury.
