The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced its finding that the dumping of concrete reinforcing bar from Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam has caused injury to the domestic industry.
Anti-dumping duties will therefore be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on importations of these goods from the seven countries.
The Tribunal's inquiry and finding follow the issuance by the President of the CBSA of a final determination of dumping dated May 5, 2021.
