CBSA issues dumping determination on small power transformers from three countries

September 3, 2021

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made a preliminary determination of dumping respecting certain small power transformers from Austria, Chinese Taipei and South Korea.

Provisional duties at rates ranging from 16.7% to 78.4% will now be payable on the subject goods that are released from customs on or after August 27, 2021.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) will now formally determine if the dumping is causing prejudice to Canadian industry.
