List of CBSA Holidays and maintenance outages for next year

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) electronic commerce systems published the list of official Holidays for the next year. They apply to all provinces except where indicated otherwise:

  • Monday, January 3, 2022
  • Monday, February 21, 2022 (Alberta, New Brunswick, Ontario, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and PEI)
  • Friday, April 15, 2022
  • Monday, April 18, 2022
  • Monday, May 23, 2022
  • Friday, June 24, 2022 (Quebec)
  • Friday, July 1, 2022
  • Monday, July 11, 2022 (Nunavut)
  • Monday, August 1, 2022 (All Provinces/territories except Quebec and Yukon)
  • Monday, August 15, 2022 (Yukon)
  • Monday, September 5, 2022
  • Friday, September 30, 2022
  • Monday, October 10, 2022
  • Friday, November 11, 2022
  • Monday, December 26, 2022
  • Tuesday, December 27, 2022

The Agency also published the list of scheduled maintenance outages for its computers and networks for 2019. They will occur on the following weekends, generally in the early morning:

  • July 23-24, 2022
  • August 20-21, 2022
  • September 17-18, 2022

  • November 19-20, 2022
  • December 10-11, 2022

The dates of these outages are based on information available at time of publication and are subject to change. Updated and more detailed information will be communicated by bulletin in advance of the outage.

Additional outages can be expected for the migration of system releases, but exact dates/times have not been determined.
