Dumping of container chassis from China injures Canadian industry according to CITT

February 24, 2022

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced its finding that the dumping and subsidizing of certain container chassis, originating in or exported from China, have caused injury to the domestic industry.

Anti-dumping and countervailing duties will therefore be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on importations of these goods from the six countries.

The Tribunal's inquiry and finding follow the issuance by the President of the CBSA of a final determination of dumping and subsidizing dated January 19, 2022.
