Tribunal maintains injury finding on gypsum board from the United States

October 21, 2022

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced that it continued its finding made in January 2017 concerning the dumping of certain gypsum board from the United States imported into Canada for use or consumption in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, as well as the Yukon and Northwest Territories.

The Tribunal found that the expiry of the finding was likely to result in injury to Canadian industry and as such, the Tribunal continued its finding.

The Canada Border Services Agency will therefore continue to impose anti-dumping duties on these products.
