The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) launched a public consultation seeking feedback on a new proposed program directive, D-22-03: Phytosanitary requirements for the importation and domestic movement of grapevine material for propagation or decorative use.

This directive amalgamates and updates Canada's import and domestic movement requirements for propagative grapevine material and will replace directive D-94-34: Import requirements for grapevine propagative material.

The CFIA is seeking feedback from Canadian stakeholders and international trading partners affected by the publication of this directive, including any proposed changes to existing requirements.

The consultation is open from May 15, 2023 to July 14, 2023.
