CBSA needs more time in reinvestigation of values of copper pipe fittings from the U.S., South Korea, and China

June 28, 2023

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced that it needed yet more time to complete the re-investigation to update the normal values and export prices of certain copper pipe fittings from the United States, South Korea and China and the amounts of subsidy of certain copper pipe fittings from China.

The re-investigation will now conclude by September 8, 2023.

In May the CBSA had already extended the re-investigations by 28 days (to August 17, 2023) due to the complexity and novelty of the issues presented by the re-investigation.

Orders from the Canadian International Trade Tribunal impose anti-dumping and/or countervailing duties on importations of the specified goods.
