Tribunal maintains injury finding on copper pipe fittings from Vietnam

November 22, 2023

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced that it continued its finding made in May 2018 concerning the dumping and subsidizing of copper pipe fittings originating in or exported from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The Tribunal found that the expiry of the finding was likely to result in injury to Canadian industry. As such, the Tribunal continued its finding.

The Canada Border Services Agency will therefore continue to impose anti dumping and countervailing duties on these products.
