Tribunal maintains injury finding on steel welded pipe from several countries

June 26, 2024

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced that it continued its order made in October 2018 concerning the dumping of certain carbon steel welded pipe from the Republic of Korea, Chinese Taipei, the Republic of India, the Sultanate of Oman, the Kingdom of Thailand and the United Arab Emirates and subsidizing of the aforementioned goods originating in or exported from the Republic of India.

The Tribunal found that the expiry of the order was likely to result in injury to Canadian industry and as such, continued its order.

The Canada Border Services Agency will therefore continue to impose anti-dumping duties on this product.
