The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) issued a final determination that the evidence does not disclose a reasonable indication that the dumping of certain oil and gas well casing from Austria has caused injury and is not threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.

In a preliminary determination in April the CITT had found that evidence did not disclose a reasonable indication that the dumping of the subject goods was causing injury to the domestic industry, but found some evidence that disclosed a reasonable indication that the dumping of the subject goods was threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry. Further examination in the final inquiry dismissed the threat issue.

Anti-dumping duties will therefore not be collected on the subject goods by the Canada Border Services Agency.
