Tribunal finds dumping of forged grinding media from China threatens Canadian industry

September 25, 2026

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced it found that the dumping and subsidizing of forged grinding media, originating in or exported from China, have not caused injury to the domestic industry, but are threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.

The Tribunal's inquiry and finding follow the issuance by the President of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) of a final determination of subsidizing and dumping issued on August 24, 2026.

Anti-dumping and countervailing duties will therefore be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency.
